Configuration of a color camera / noise tests

For the project ORBENA ( near-field illumination measurement ) at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, the ( Bayer-filter based ) color camera AVT Dolphin 145c was configured for capturing 10-Bit-grayscale images with Matrox MIL Lite software library. Development of program modules in C++ for capture, color channel seperation, automatic shutter control, noise testing and processing of temperature-dependent noise information. The capability of the camera for measurement purposes was tested and documented.
