In the beginning there was play. The paint program Luma was developed after experimenting with
the rendering of fractals and two-dimensional functions.
Luma has simple and somewhat strange paint functions and an intuitive user interface.
Images created with Luma by using its nine different brushes and the paint modes
paint,
anti-paint
and
merge have a 'luminescent' appearance and are (usually) beautiful to look at.
The program has been optimized (for speed) in 2007 and can be downloaded and used for free.
